Stratford - Cambridge - Oxford -- In the early morning our ground service staff will pick you up
at the lobby of your London hotel. Our first stop will be at Stratford-upon-Avon, a pretty town on the
banks of the River Avon, famous for once being the home to one of the most important playwrights of the
English language, William Shakespeare. On arrival in Stratford, your guide will take you on an informal
walk around the town, including a visit to Shakespeare's grave in Holy Trinity Church. The tour concludes
at the Birthplace Museum, the house that Shakespeare was born and lived in as a boy.
From Shakespeare's hometown, we will head up to Cambridge, home of the world-famous University. Cambridge
is a compact cosmopolitan city with outstanding architecture both ancient and modern. The beauty of its
ancient centre is preserved with its quaint medieval streets, college courts, gardens and bridges. Among
other sights, we will hear carols in King's College Chapel and watch punting on the river Cam.
The day tour doesn't end yet! After lunch, we take your journey to Oxford through the beautiful landscape
of the northern Cotswolds. In Oxford your guide will introduce you to the sights of the city centre and the
colleges, explaining the history of one of the world's most important historical universities. Then wander
the college-lined streets or the beautiful parks to soak up the atmosphere of this great academic city. We
then return to the London hotel in the evening.
Grand City Tour of Brussels -- You begin your visit with a short stroll in the old city center.
An experienced guide provides information about the world-famous GRAND PLACE with its unique city
hall and splendid guild houses; You continue your adventure trail through the capital,
passing by the magnificent St. Michael's Cathedral, the Congress Column, the Heizeldistrict with
the renowned
Atomium, the remarkable Chinese Pavilion and the Japanese Tower; Via the Palace of
Laken we drive back to the center so you will visit the Zavel district with its many antique stores.
After the impressive Court of Justice and the elegant Louise Square, you will be at the stately Royal
Square, the Royal Palace and the old Palace of the Nations, which is now the home of Parliament. Around
the Jubelpark with its grand Triumphal Arch and exceptional museums you can see some excellent examples
of Art Nouveau houses.
Amsterdam Day Tour from Brussels -- Holland is only a stone's throw away from Belgium and nevertheless the country is
strikingly different.
After meeting with your tour guide at your Brussels' hotel lobby, you will take a ride.
Along Antwerp, cross the Dutch border,
and drive through the endless polders with countless windmills before reaching the Amsterdam area.
First you will visit a traditional craft center
at a traditional farm to get familiar with everything that made the glory of Holland: tasty cheese,
traditional clogs and beautiful pottery. In the afternoon you can admire splendid Amsterdam. Take the
opportunity to join a boat tour along the many picturesque canals or have a break and enjoy some free
time at the "Dam" square which is famous for its royal palace. You will then return to your hotel in Brussels.
