Various sports will take place from the city of Richmond through Vancouver's city center and north of the alpine resort of Whistler. Vancouver will host curling, figure skating, ice hockey and
short track speed skating; Richmond will host speed skating; Cypress Mountain just west of Vancouver will host snowboarding and freestyle skiing events; Whistler will host
Alpine and Nordic skiing, ski jumping, bobsleigh, luge and skeleton; Ceremonies will be held in BC Place at the city center of Vancouver.
